Chrisland Schools’ Alumnus Graduates Summa Cum Laude at Youngstown State University

We celebrate a member of the Chrisland family who has continued the tradition of excellence across the Atlantic Ocean.
Oluwatumininu attended Chrisland High School Ikeja; during her stay at CHSI, she distinguished herself as an academically gifted learner, winning several laurels for the school, including the highly-coveted Winifred Awosika Annual School Challenge. In 2017, Ms Adeeko, the school social prefect, graduated as the third best-graduating student in her set, winning the most resourceful person award, among other honours. Similarly, she also had the best IGCSE result of her set.

She proceeded to Chrisland Pre-degree College, where she continued her academic exploits.

In June 2018, Oluwatumininu received the highest score in Cambridge International A-level Examination in Mathematics in Nigeria! For her consistent academic performance, she was a recipient of the COBIS Student Achievement Award in 2021.

​Not one to rest on her oars, Oluwatumininu Adeeko graduated Summa Cum Laude (The US equivalent of a First-Class Honours in Nigeria) from Youngstown State University in 2023. This feat has earned her an offer of financial aid for a PhD program in Material Science and Engineering.
