From the Principal's Desk

“The winds and the waves are always on the side of the ablest navigators”. At Chrisland High School VGC our commitment to excellence and sound educational management could not be better described than with these famous words by Edward Gibbons.
To attain success in modern education, we need great awareness and agility. We need to read the winds and adapt to change. We need to check our course and set our sails anew daily to ensure we stay ahead of time. Only then will we be able to “Show Forth The Light” to every corner of the universe, according to the motto of Chrisland Schools LTD. If we work and plan well, the winds and the waves will always be in our favour.
Since its inception in 2006, Chrisland High School VGC has been a success story. After a humble start with only 14 learners, it has grown into an academic giant with dedicated staff and excellent facilities, providing an all-round education to over 500 “Chrislanders”. At CHSVGC we are aware of our calling to provide only the best education in order to benefit our learners, our country and ultimately the world.

We do this in accordance with the following strategic focus areas;

• Managing the quality of the teaching and learning programmes in the school

• Expanding the level of science and mathematics teaching and learning
