We cannot but express our profound gratitude to our loving and caring Father in heaven for bringing us to the end of the first term of the 2017/2018 academic session. We honestly appreciate His enduring grace, unfathomable wisdom and strength and an enabling environment to execute the various activities slated for the first academic term successfully.

This term, the Chrisland @ 40 celebrations was in full swing with a variety of activities, ranging from album launch to book launch, church thanksgiving service to soccer friendlies and many more. These have been captioned in this newsletter with beautiful pictures for your viewing pleasure.

As we celebrate this yuletide, may our dear Lord bless everyone associated with our school with good health, protection and prosperity. Do have a blessed Christmas and prosperous New Year in advance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

 1.MONEY TO SCHOOL

The school does not encourage students bringing money to school. We have discovered/observed that it tends to lead to unhealthy traits like: borrowing/lending, pilfering/stealing and divergence of intelligence. For those of our parents who do not know, we give them snacks at short break (doughnut, sausage roll, Tart roll or biscuits). One of the above is served with (yoghurt, soft drink, Caprisone or water). By 2.00 p.m., the junior students are served proper lunch and by 2.30 p.m., the senior students observe theirs. They do not need additional snacks from home to school.

2.SELLING / BUYING:

We do not approve of any student selling things to others nor helping some other student to buy something. This is a “Day” School and as such, it gives any student every opportunity to buy whatever he/she needs both at home and from the school, by him/herself. We have, many times been engaged with cases involving students helping other students to buy irrelevant things. This has led to students bringing snacks to school to sell, selling their school lunch and stealing money from their parents to buy things they see on other students. Some students also borrow money from fellow students to buy things that are not necessary.
